Održana je dodjela MTV nagrada za ostvarenja u svijetu zabave. Zendaya i Tom Holland očekivano, osvojli su glavne nagrade. Osvojili su nagrade za glavne glumce, Zendaya u seriji “Euforija”, a Holland za ulogu u filmu “Spider-Man: No Way Home”. Serija i film su također osvojili i nagradu u svojoj kategoriji za najbolju seriji i film u 2021. godini. Scarlett Johansson osvojila je najbolju junakinju za ulogu “Black Widdow”, dok je Daniel Radcliffe uzeo nagradu za najboljeg negativca u svojoj izvedbi u “The Lost City.”
Jack Black kući je odnio nagradu “Comedic Genius”. Dok je Jennifer Lopez prihvatila nagradu generacije i održala emotivan govor. U kojem je zahvalila svojoj djeci, ljudima koji su joj pružili radost i svom menadžeru Bennyju Medini. Kao i “svim ljudima koji su rekli u lice ili izad leđa da neću uspjeti.” Ranije na ceremoniji, Lopez je odnijela nagradu za najbolju pjesmu za “On My Way (Marry Me)”.
